Because there's a lot of money in drugs if we talk about selling it. The rich people they see are either on TV in Music Videos or in their neighborhood selling drugs. It takes no school to get rich with that so many takes risks to try to get it better.
When it comes to using and not selling both poor and rich use it as a way to escape or enhance the party feeling.
