Currently it is in a lot of trouble, so no. There are both good and bad aspects to the euro though:
Good
It's convenient- travel is much easy as there is no need for foreign exchange.
It gives Europeans a sense of a NEW EUROPEAN IDENTITY. Most europeans have the same currency and this promotes international relations, giving countries a sense of community and belonging to a part of something big. This also promotes peace between between countries, so there is a much lower likelihood of war.
Price comparison is easy- consumers can compare prices easily from a cup of coffee to a car. Prices are quoted in euros in practically everywhere in Europe.
Bad
Eurozone is a monopoly and all monopolies head for disaster. Some countries are in economic turmoil struggling in a recession whilst others, like Germany are repealing the benefits and are fine.
The Euro creates a loss in control for countries managing their own affairs. They hand over control of the country's economics to a group of people that were not elected by that country's population. Where's the democracy?
Currently the euro is struggling with most of the countries in the eurozone in a recession or heading for one. Many people are against it and it is not doing so well.
One euro is 100 cents, so there are two fifty euro cents in one euro.
1 euro= 100 cents 1 euro = 60 rupees approximately. 50 euro cent's= half a euro (according to the euro currency rate) 50 euro cents= 30 rupees approx.
Its good for us because they can protect other countries when they get into war and EU is good. And you can travel to places that has euro and that makes it easier.
yes some countries are worse off since they adopted the euro because they're economy might be better than other countries but the currency stays the same because some of the weaker countries are bring them down. therefore some of the countries that have adopted the euro with good economies are now dropping the euro to make more money
Firstly it is called the Euro not the Euro dollar. The abbreviation is EUR. The symbol is €

At the moment the euro has a huge impact of those in the euro zone and also those that aren't in the euro zone, the state of the euro affects the price of imports and exports as for example, places like England do a lot of trading with countries within Europe. However, for industries such as tourism the Euro can have a good impact for those who aren't in the euro zone as the value of the euro goes down- so instead of the euro being worth £1.50 it is worth £1.30.
