YES! I have taken online classes from Butler Community College in conjunction with on-campus classes. I would definitely recommend them. There are some things you should know though: - It's best to take courses from a college that has a campus. (skip the wierd online-only schools) - You need to give yourself time to actually do the work. It's easy to fill up your schedule with other things because there is no actual class time. - You need to be comfortable with computers and the internet. Tests are usually timed, so you will not be able to stop in the middle if you have a problem. - If you are not a reasonably self-motivated person, these classes may not work for you. - Online classes can be slightly harder than on-campus ones because there are often more reading and quizzes assigned. Well, I would say yes. I have only good things to say about online colleges. As a stay at home mom it has been nothing short of a blessing for me. I can now graduate inspite of being at home looking after my two little children. Online education offers you a flexibility that cannot be found with a traditional degree program.

It depends. A live tutor would probably be more cost-effective (and maybe even cheaper) because you can interact with them better and faster. But if you can't find a tutor through your school, you might think about spending the money for an online tutor.
