well first off that is not spanish that is Arabic.
usually before someone says we'alikum asalam someone else greets them by saying asalam alakum. which means peace be upon you. then the other person says we'alakum asalam which means and peace be upon you too. after someone says that you can say something like keyfik which means how are you or you can say fadalu which means please come in, if they are visiting you. :)
