Sort of. Cush (×›×•×©) refers to an ancient Biblical empire in Africa. In Modern Hebrew, the word Cushi (×›×•×©×™) refers to anyone of Black African descent. The word doesn't actually mean the color "black" though. It literally means "Cushite" or a descendent of Cush.
