having that score is not good because they give you 12 automatically....so if i was you i would retake it and study for the test this time.....
You have to at least get a 22 on your ACT I think they will except a 20 but only if you retake the ACT
a 36 is a perfect score.
No, it is not over. Retake the test and buy the test book at a bookstore to help you study for the test.

It is possible. However, your score will not be the permanent score sent to colleges. You will still need to retake the ACT during your Junior or Senior year. (Either that, or you can take the SAT during your Junior or Senior year).
If a young 13 year old (Sept. BD) in 8th grade scored a composite score of 21 on the ACT, would that be considered a good score, all things considered?
It depends on the school. But, most academic scholarships require a 24 or better on the ACT.
The average ACT score for Americans in 1979 was 18.8. This number dropped 10 years later to an average of 18.6.
Your ACT score is out of 36. Each section is scored out of 36 points and the section scores are averaged together to make up your total score.
No, colleges can make you retake the SAT but not the ACT.
Normally when people raise their ACT score, they do not raise it by much. For example, a person that received an 18 is unlikely to receive a 30 when they retake the test. It is much more likely that a person who received a 20 will receive a 22 the next time. Of course, the best way to increase one's chances of scoring better on the ACT is to study.
