Contact the schools and see if they have any info packets , or can answer any of your questions. Make sure you cover the benefits of going , the reason why you want to go , where the school is , how much money it is, and different scholarships and financial aid available.

If they are concerned about the school being co-ed, you should explain all of the rules that keep boys and girls separated in the dorms, and you can give them the contact information for someone in the admissions office if they want more information.

Well, my parents are thinking the same thing. It's crazy how parents don't trust you as an individual to make your own choices and to be independent. First of all, don't cry or argue with your parents and say it's not fair, I don't want to go to boarding school, etc. You will just frustrate your parents even more and they will send you to boarding school even sooner than originally planned. The only way to get out of it is to follow your parent's expectations and basically to be on your best behavior possible and respect your parents at all times. Don't talk back to them even if they get you mad, just hold it all in, Don't let it all out. If they're arguing with you, don't say anything rude back to them. Just nod your head as if you understand, then you will make the situation a whole lot better and the fight will stop. Follow these rules and your parents might just see potential in you and you might not have to go to boarding school after all.
