What do you mean by "spell" World History in Spanish?
If you want to know how we say World History in Spanish, here in Northern Mexico, and probably is the same in the whole of Mexico we say Historia Universal. So in short the answer to your question is: Historia Universal. But I have the feeling that some more research is needed. What causes trouble to me is the way you use the word spell.
