nihon, not nippon.
No one ever says "nippon" in spoken japanese, ever, unless they're doing it in a sarcastic way (or are super right-wing), as it carries extremely right wing and imperialistic connotations. It would be kind like saying "these United States of America, one nation under god, forever" every time you would normally say the word "america".
日本行く!(Nihon iku!) would mean literally "Go Japan!".
