yes and a good asvab score
It may depend on which branch you're in; your best chance is to visit your local recruiter. If you've taken the ASVAB, the recruiter can pull up your files, and they can give you the entire list of jobs for which you qualify, but you do not need high scores to become an MP.
The ASVAB score and IQ are related, but not the same. The ASVAB measures specific skills and knowledge needed for military jobs, while IQ tests measure general cognitive abilities. A high ASVAB score may indicate high cognitive abilities, but they are not directly interchangeable.
Your Asvab score won't matter as much as your line scores. Right now to become a MST you need line scores of VE+AR=115 (verbal expression + arithmetic reasoning) and a MK (mathematical Knowledge) of at least 54
High school diploma, at least a GT score of 32 on the ASVAB test.
The ASVAB test isnt much benefit to a high school student. It can be beneficial to the student after graduation because they can obtain a job in the armed services.
You can go to military.com and take the ASVAB practice test. There are 6 different pratice tests. 3 short tests (40 Questions) 3 long tests (400 Questions)
A high school diploma, ability to pass the physical exam and drug screening, a passing score on the ASVAB, and a clean criminal record.
Not exactly sure what would happen, but you would still be able to join the military if your general score is high enough
High school students can take the student ASVAB at their schools. The score is not used by the military. The ASVAB for enlistment is given at the MEPS, or you can arrange a CAT ASVAB through a recruiter.
High school diploma or GED, minimum GT score of 31 (if I remember correctly) on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
It's in your military records, or you can go to AKO, or contact the recruitment office that took you to MEPPS.
