15 years At a minimum, to become a registered nurse, the time is 2 years. If you want to obtain your Bachelor's degree in nursing that would be about 4 years. You can start with the 2 year (associate) degree and then advance to your Bachelors. Nursing is a great career, but you have to love it to stay with it.
