If a sport isn't organized as a Penn State team, it's probably taught as a Physical Ed course. While attending, I took rifle, Fencing, synchronized swimming, Badminton and water safety instruction. I only know of two: Zachary Battles and Rebecca Funk, but there may be more. The first from Penn State was Tess Thompson in 1997.
As of October 2023, several Penn State alumni have been inducted into various sports halls of fame, notably the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Specifically, eight former Penn State football players have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
