you must only do 7 but you can do 6 if you are not originally Irish (but you can do Irish if you want) or you can do 8 or 9 it depends on if you do a subject outside school eg. Religion or if you do LCVP (leaving cert vocational programme). six or seven should be enough because they only count your best six when adding up points for a course you want to do. good luck if you do it! x
