Well, honey, in chapter 15 of the Hunger Games, there are technically 6 tributes left. But let's be real here, with all the drama and backstabbing going on, who knows how many will make it out alive by the end of the book. Just grab some popcorn and enjoy the show, darling.
Katniss Peeta Rue Thersh Cato Clove
Cato is a District 2 tribute. He is large and violent, killing most of the tributes. When his district partner dies, we see his innocent side. He cries. Peeta, Katniss, and Cato were the last 3 tributes left in the games. Unfortunately, Katniss shot an arrow at him and he was eaten by mutts. He died.
There are six tributes left. Cato, Clove, Thresh, Foxface, Peeta, and Katniss.
She didn't want to become allies with them then having to kill them later on if they're the only ones left.
In the Hunger Games, the character Glimmer is killed by tracker jackers. Tracker jackers are genetically engineered wasps that are used as weapons in the Games. Glimmer is stung multiple times by the tracker jackers and dies as a result of the venom injected by the wasps.
The mutts look like wolves, only with some human qualities. Not exactly werewolves, but very close. The creepiest\most interesting thing about them, is that their eyes and fur are made to look like the dead tributes that died in the Games.
In each game each district must send in a girl and boy to represent them. Seeing there are 12 districts there are 24 tributes. the 24 tributes must battle each other off til ONE is left standing taking home everything you could ever want.
to the left
how ever many days it takes for all the tributes to be killed with one left standing. this process can be expedited based on what the Capitol does to create conflict in the arena between tributes.
The reason that there won't be a fourth hunger games book is because the story is over. Katniss is married and has kids with peeta and gale left so there isn't much left to work with
the muttations, they were like wolf dogs
