It depends how many good grades you have. If you have five 100's and one 60 then average it in all you have to do to find how your grade went down is add up all your grades then divide it by the number of grades you have, then subtract the grade that you had before and the grade you have now that should give you your awnser.

How many points does a zero bring down your grade?

How much a zero effects your letter grade depends on how much the assignment that you got a zero on was out of. If it was a 0/100 and you had 3 assignments that were each a hundred points and you got 100 on 2 of the 3 then you would have a 66%. If it were a 0/5 but you had a mix of other numbers such as 23/25 or 15/ 15 then it all depends on averages. Best Tip: Just do the assignment and don't forget it at home.

How do you prevent a bad mark from bringing your whole mark down?

It's pretty hard to prevent this. If it's a smaller assignment, like a quiz, it won't effect your grade much; but if it's a big test or something, a bad grade WILL bring your whole grade down. Your best plan of action is to try to bring it back up: do extra credit, ask your teacher for help, and DO BETTER NEXT TIME! If you really can't let your grade drop right now (say it's a 75 & a bad grade will bring it below 70, causing you to fail), tell your teacher about your concerns and I'm sure they will try to help you.

How do you use assigned in a sentence?

Our team was assigned the most difficult exercise. I didn't like my third grade teacher because she assigned too much homework. Who is the social worker assigned to this case? We had assigned seats for the inservice which meant we weren't with our friends.

When I failed to meet with deadlines at that time I embarrassed to disclose but it was my first job and first assignment. What does ineligeble mean?

I think you mean "ineligible", which pretty much means that aren't allowed to do something, usually because you have not met the requirements to do so.e.g. Sam was ineligible to go to the 6th grade because he had failed all of his classes.

If you make you have a c average and you make a f What is your grade?

It depends on how many tests you already have taken. If you took 20 tests before it doesn't make that much of a difference. If you took 3 tests before your grade is bumped down.

How much does your overall mark drop if you fail an exam?

That depends on how many other things contribute to your overall course grade. If your entire grade is based on 4 exams, for instance, then failing one would affect 25% of your grade. If the midterm is worth less because of papers, homework, attendance, and other assignments, then it could affect only 10% or less of your grade. It also depends on how badly you fail. Failing at 50% is much better than failing at 0% (not taking it, or not knowing anything on it). At least with 50% you got some of the points, and so it makes it easier to do better later in the class and raise your grade.
