I don't have any personal knowledge of the acceptance rate of Auburn students into med school, in general. I do know, however, that Auburn students who have graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering (Biomedical specilization) and have maintained a high GPA have an excellent acceptance rate. The trick is, maintaining the high GPA, as the Chem E program is notoriously challenging.

Washington University, Harvard University, and UCLA offer some of the best pre-med schools due to elite research and high success rates. Duke University also offers a fantastic program.
Oklahoma Baptist University has a pre-med program that 90% of the students get accepted into med school
I think Syracuse University has the best pre med in upstate NY.
A good University to attend if intrested in Medicine is UC San Francisco
The best pre-med schools in the US in no particular order are: John Hopkins in Baltimore, The University of Washington in Seattle, New York University and Stanford University in California. There are many more top rated pre-med schools located all over the country.
William Paterson University is one of the best colleges in New Jersey that offers Pre-Med. The State University of New Jersey Ñ New Brunswick also offers a great Pre-Med program.
UB doesn't have an official pre-med progam. They have a major in Biology but that's about it.
The top Pre Med Schools in America are Cornell University, Creighton University, Boston University, and Dartmouth Medical School. You can get a complete list here: http://www.america.edu/top_20_pre-med_schools_in_america.html
Although the University of Pennsylvania does not technically have a pre-med program, they have a great reputation for having their students enter med school. Penn has an awesome med-school too & it's an ivy league. This would be my first recommendation. Some other options, Penn State & University of Pittsburgh. Hope this helps!
The War Eagles was deemed by some people associated with Auburn as being too aggressive and wanted to change it. The nickname remains despite their efforts. Auburn Tigers. War Eagle is a chant for pre game, good plays, etc.
A lot of University's offer bachelor's degrees in Pre-Med it just depends on what area your talking about. Although you can go online and do a college search around your area and select Pre-Med as the field you want to go into and they will list several options just right for you.
