I want to say that compared to other people, that is not the best. Dont feel bad about yourself just retake it if you still can. I got a higher grade as a 7th grader than this but it could justve been that you had a bad day.
The SAT is now out of 2400. Depending on the school this score may be considered decent or it can be considered not so great. It also depends on which sections you scored poorly on. Certain schools don't even look at the writing section so you may not be penalized for the score. If this were a score out of 1600, I would say this is a good score to apply to college with.
That depends. If this score is out of 1600 (old SAT) then this is an excellent score to have. However, if this score is out of a 2400 (new SAT), then you need to try again, you won't really be very competitive with this score.
Yes, it's a good score, but it depends on where you want to go to college. It's not high enough for an Ivy League school, or another top of the top school, but it's high enough to get you into most schools as long as you have good grades and extracurricular involvement. By the way, some schools (Wake Forest, for example) don't even require SAT scores, because they feel that standardized tests don't show the ability of their applicants accurately.
