actually juggalos are technically Christian as they follow 'christian ideals' as 'interpreted' by Insane Clown Posse.
LaVeyan Satanism (the original) does not.
Spiritual Satanists are more spiritual. They believe in Satan as an actual being, usually he's their God of choice. Whereas LaVeyan Satanists are pretty much athiests.
LaVeyans tend to be more athestic than spiritualist satanists.
LaVeyan Satanists believe that both Satan and God are mythical. For this reason, they would be athiests. Satan is just symbolic of those aspects of our nature, or behaviours, which are socially unacceptable.
A few hundred thousand. But theirs different types of satanists aswell... laveyan, spiritual etc....
Joining a Satanic organization typically involves researching various groups, as there are different interpretations of Satanism, such as LaVeyan Satanism, Theistic Satanism, and others. Many groups have official websites where you can find information on beliefs, practices, and membership requirements. It's important to understand the philosophy and values of the specific organization you’re interested in before joining. Additionally, participating in local meetups or online forums can help you connect with like-minded individuals.
Satanism is an exceptionally individualistic religion with no specific creed and is practised by persons who are not inclined to accept arbitrary limitations on their personal conduct. Theistic Satanists are liable to embrace same-sex marriage because Christianity generally labels it as sin. LaVeyan Satanists are likely to approve of the perceived rebelliousness of the idea, but perhaps frown on whatever attempt at conformity is inherent in the practice.
Satanism. Many of you will look at this and think "Devil worship, human sacrifice and blasphemy." I know this to be true, but it is now time to awaken you all to the truth. In this short piece on Satanism I will be discussing Spiritual Satanism, rather than LaVeyan Satanism, the difference being that Spiritual Satanists believe in Satan as an actual living being, or a God. LaVeyan Satanists believe in Satan as a metaphor for the individual person, and focuses mainly on self-betterment. Satanism is the original religion. It came before Christianity, Islam and Judaism, and before others. In some Paganism sects, Baphomet is worshipped. Baphomet, the hermaphrodite (having both male and female aspects or qualities) god/dess of fertility, is an old symbol of Satan. Satanism has three main aims: Self-empowerment Freedom Honour Satanism aims to make the individual as great as they can be; to help them realise and reach their full potential. No skin colour, sexuality, gender, nationality or age is prohibited from practicing Satanism. It is the religion without prejudice. Honour is one of the most important parts of Satanism. What are now called Demons, the original creator gods in Satanism, should be honoured and respected. Satanism encourages familial bonds, but acknowledges that it itself is not compatible with other religions. If one wishes to become a Satanist, they must first make sure that they do not feel ties to any other religions. Satanists are not criminals. They are law abiding citizens! They do not advocate murder, rape, torture or any other illegal activity. Sadly, the media of today has portrayed them in a rather evil light. Satan is the Lord of the Earth. For this reason, Satanists will not be found dropping litter or using too much fossil fuel when they do not need to. Satanists respect the natural world around them and admire the inherent beauty it contains. © Sael Jasmua
The author of The Satanic Bible is a man called Anton LaVey. The book contains the principles of what LaVey calls LaVeyan Satanism and is considered to be an authoritative text on the subject rather than a sacred scripture like the Bible.
No. Satanists are a group who believe mostly in human nature. Contrary to popular belief, they do not worship Satan. They do not believe in Satan, heaven, hell, or God.This is the definition from Wikipedia in italics: Satanism is a term that refers to a number of related belief systems. Their commonality is that they all feature the symbolism of Satan (or similar figures) which originated as a challenging role within Judaism (in The Book of Job), and developed within Christian mythology into a cosmological adversary. There are two primary forms of Satanism; Theistic Satanism and LaVeyan Satanism. Theistic Satanists believe that Satan is a real being with existence, whom adherents venerate as a deity or entity with whom to cooperate. Some, though not all, theistic Satanists consider Satan to be benevolent. LaVeyan Satanism[1], in contrast, is atheistic. These latter Satanists believe that Satan is merely symbolic of humanity's carnal nature. Because some Satanists actively worship Satan, believing him to be a real deity, they could be viewed as being a Christian denomination[2].It is often the practice of any given Satanist not to refer to themselves with a hyphenated prefix. Each "type" of Satanist will usually refer to themselves only as "Satanist".Christian religion is the belief and worship of Christ, as the word implies. Therefore, Satanism is the belief and worship of Satan, the fallen angel. I disagree with Wiki's definition as since whoever wrote that part believes that Satan "to be a real deity, they could be viewed as being a Christian denomination". To be a Christian denomination, you must have Christ as your central point of worship. Point in case, Buddhist worship Buddha, Muslims worship Mohammed, etc., you get the picture.Satanism, by the aforementioned definition and most others, is the worship of Satan as a deity. Christians do not worship Satan or 'venerate [him] as a deity or entity with whom to cooperate'. Neither do Christians see Satan as benevolent. Therefore, Satanism would be hard pressed to fit into Christianity by that definition. As for LaVeyan Satanism, Christianity is not by definition 'atheistic', so Satanism certainly doesn't qualify under that definition either. A Satanist does not worship God or accept Christ as Saviour, two defining characteristics of Christianity. Satanism, therefore, is not a Christian religion. The point on which both camps would agree is that Satan is a valid being. However, believing in the existence of a being is not the same as adhering to the beliefs which define that religion.
It seems like there might be a typo in your question. If you meant "Satanic," it refers to beliefs or practices related to Satan, typically associated with the Satanic Temple or LaVeyan Satanism. If you meant something else, please provide more context for a better answer.
No. Most rock bands aren't interested in the Devil at all. Some are interested as a lyrical subject to get attention and record sales, and a very small minority are interested in Satanism, whether theistic or LaVeyan. The people who are interested (in any way) are more prevalent in metal than rock, though.
