Wedge
A wedge is a simple machine made out of two inclined planes put together. It is used to split things apart or lift heavy objects when pushed under them.

it's a screw because it is sort of a wedge and it has very thin inclined planes swirled around it.
A simple machine made from wheels and ropes is a pulley.
By the definition, A plane which makes an angle (THETA) with the horizontal is said to be inclined plane. Inclined plane has made lots of work very easy. It's a simple machine.

That isn't a simple machine, it is a complex machine, made up of other simple machines.
plastic can be made into simple machines, but no plastic itself isn't a simple machine.
A compound machine.
Compound machines are things that are made up of 1 or more simple machines. A screw isn't made up of any simple machines unless you count the screw as a simple machine.
