Irish (Gaelic) and Scots Gaelic have no word for "to have". "I had a cat" would be "Bhí cat agam" in Irish,literally "there was a cat at-me". The Scottish Gaelic would be: "Bha cat agam". Bhí againn; Bha againn (?)
