∙ 12y agoIn high school policy debate, the word "limits" usually refers to a common Topicality standard.
Basically, if a negative team argues that their Topicality definition is superior because of limits, they are arguing that their definition reasonably limits the number of possible affirmative plans. The affirmative team may argue in response that the negative definition over-limits the number of possible plans.
