Hello. I am currently a freshman with a 4.0 GPA. Throughout the four years of High school, I will be taking 4 different engineering classes such as Civil and Architecture Engineering. I play football and Lacrosse; furthermore I am somewhat athletic and strong. Last year, I was accepted into my local police department's cadet program after a 1 year and a half background. Overall, I have a clean background and almost around police officer everyday. In addition, I plan on joining my local Naval Sea Cadets at the same time. Good grades (AP and honor classes in near future), athletic, committed to the Navy. What are my chances being accepted into the Naval Academy? What could I do at such a young age to strengthen my chance (Contact a congressman)? Also, how many years of foreign language do you recommend for the Academy? Does it matter if I take 2 years of Spanish or does it give me a better chance to do 3? Much help will be appreciated, thank you.
