aleda doesn't appear to be a Hebrew word, but it's close to:al eida (על עידה) = "on a group"al ed (על עד) = "on a witness"
It depends on how you spell it. Al with an Alef (אל) is the negative particle associated with commands. For example, "Al ta'asei" (אל תעשה) means "Don't do" and "Al tikhtav" (אל תכתב) means "Don't write". Al with an Ayin (על) is preposition "on".
