I would assume it means the cam has been removed. I have never heard the term used in this manner.
this probably means you have a worn cam shaft or cam shaft or the arm that hits the cam shaft to open the valve is worn. this is internal on the engine.

Do you mean timing chain? If that is what you mean the answer to your question is yes it does.
"mis ta cam" means "put your (video) camera (on)" in French.
If you mean crank position sensor it's on the back of the engine, forward side. If you mean cam position sensor, that is taken from the distributor, there is no separate cam sensor.
