What does Pre-College Referral mean I checked the decision of one of the colleges I had applied to and it said Pre-College Referral what does this mean?

It means that you have been offered a conditional admission to the college. The condition is that you successfully complete some type of pre-college studies program with a minimum grade point average. The program is most like offered during the summer by the college. If you achieve the desired grade standard set by the college, then you can continue on to begin the Fall semester with the rest of the freshman class. If you do not achieve the desired grades then you will not be admitted to the college. Most likely you received this decision because either your grades and/or SAT scores did not quite meet their standards for unconditional admission, but your overall record shows that you have some potential, but they want you to prove it over the summer that you can handle college courses before they let you in.
