You are really stupid.. (sorry but you don't have to be a genius to pass) you have to get more than one third of the questions right, you can get 2/3 of them wrong and still pass, though you won't get the job that you want. If you fail, your recruiter can reschedule you and you can take it again. (expect this time study for it.)
All military bases offer free ASVAB testing. You can also find the test online at www.military.com.
High school students can take the student ASVAB at their schools. The score is not used by the military. The ASVAB for enlistment is given at the MEPS, or you can arrange a CAT ASVAB through a recruiter.
meet the requirements and pass an ASVAB test
Not necessarily.. Completing the ASVAB is part of the enlisting process at your given MEPS
That depends upon your personal level of confidence and your military ambitions. If you are aiming for one of the more prized careers in the military your ASVAB score will be critical and you would want to be as prepared as possible. For the ordinary recruit it may not be as helpful,
No but you can be a crew chief lol
Not exactly sure what would happen, but you would still be able to join the military if your general score is high enough
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a test to ensure recruits are fit to serve in the US military.
yes it is all based on your ASVAB score
No. Go talk to a recruiter and tell them you want to take the asvab but you arent sure if you want to join yet.
You could go to the nearest military recruiting station and ask one of the recruiters to take the asvab test.
The ASVAB does not directly measure IQ. Instead, it assesses a person's abilities in various areas such as math, reading, and mechanical comprehension to determine their aptitude for different military jobs. IQ tests specifically measure general intelligence, while the ASVAB focuses on specific skills relevant to military roles.
