Absolutely you can press charges against her. I have a friend who's son had his own wife arrested because she hit him behind the knees with a Golf club sending him to the bathroom floor like a ton of bricks. As soon as he could stand he phoned the police and had her taken away in handcuffs. She had to cool her heels in jail over night and her husband gave her one last chance and let her know if she ever did it again he would press charges and file for divorce. She has thankfully never hit him since, but their marriage is a rocky one. If you are tired of your wife's behavior and she has assaulted you on more than one occasion by all means call the police and press charges. If you have children then it's best to see if the judge with force your wife into psychological counseling for her outbursts and separate for awhile while giving partial custody of the children to her. Some women and some people in society don't realize men can be verbally/physically abused. Most men were raised never to hit a woman and thankfully most don't, but it doesn't give a woman the right to hit, kick, punch or verbally abuse their husbands or mate. This is more common than some people realize and men have hidden this secret of wife abuse because they are mainly embarrassed. The mentality is, 'men are physically stronger than women' is true, but an excuse for some women to abuse their mates and get away with it. Don't be embarrassed and stand your ground on this. No one deserves to be mentally or physically abused.
