¿Comprende? (formal); ¿Comprendes? (informal)
I UNDERSTAND
To understand is either "comprender" or "entender". The terms are interchangeable.
understand
Entienda is Spanish for the word "understand".
As a question, it means, "Can you understand a little of Spanish?" As a declarative sentence, it means, "You can understand a little of Spanish?"
It is not exactly yes or no as everyone is different but most portuguese can actually understand Spanish. Not that they understand every word but most get the meaning but some people especially children have a bit of difficult understanding Spanish as the Spanish accent is different and Spanish is usually quicker.
Spanish. 'no intiendo' means 'I do not understand', as in: "No entiendo bien el español.", which means 'I do not understand Spanish well."
English, Spanish, & Creole french
Entiendo.
"You understand"..... also often a question..... "You understand?"
Comprende is the how you would say understand. Also entiende.
It literally means "they understand" but if it is a question it means "do they understand?"
