Yes. Your financial aid status will not stop you from joining a sorority. However, if you rush and are bid into the sorority, there are sometimes requirements that you must live in the sorority house. From a financial aid standpoint, the costs of the sorority beyond that of room and board will not be covered - you will need to find a way to cover the incremental costs of joining.
The three Greek sororities of Yale (Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Pi Beta Phi) all do Spring recruitment. Girls who are interested must sign up for formal recruitment through the Panhellenic Council and must rush all three sororities at once. During Rush Week, all girls in recruitment will attend a party thrown by each sorority the first night. Then, girls will be sent invites to return for the Philanthropy and Preference parties, which she must attend if she wishes to continue rushing this sorority. Following the final party, if a girl was invited to more than one, she must indicate her preference. Finally, on Bid Day, girls chosen by each sorority will be issued a Bid which she can choose to accept or decline.
