The Highway Patrol is an exclusive club that tells the DJs of SiriusXM The Highway what they want to hear played on the station.
It would be a struggle for most of this people who couldn't see or hear... but for most of them it could be easy....
You would spell it 'hear' if you are referring to a sound that you listen to.
I don't think they can listen for smells. Something would have to smell pretty strong for you to be able to hear the smell. So I don't think they would hear any.

I would probably hear the trumpets/brass first. They are typically louder than woodwinds at first.
The Latin roots "audi" meaning hear, and "aud" meaning sound would help determine that an unfamiliar word is related to being able to hear something. Words such as "auditory" or "audio" would be examples of words derived from these roots and relate to the sense of hearing.
I like to hear, your cute, your funny, your pretty. On the lighter side. Silence would be nice on occasion Something nice...so a compliment.
Because it generates no sound. The only time it would make a sound is if it was big enough to pass through the atmosphere, and strike the Earth. In which case, you would hear something similar to an explosion.
Something that is not loud enough to hear is referred to as "inaudible" or "too quiet."
