Soft drinks are basically cordial (flavour) mixed with carbonated water which makes it bubbly.

Juices are derived from fruit juice and must be a certain percentage to be labelled fruit juice over fruit drink (fruit drink must have 35% juice to be labelled fruit drink in Australia).
