Being the first military academy in America
The United States Military Academy at West Point first admitted women in 1976. The first class of female cadets included 119 women, marking a significant milestone in the academy's history. Since then, women have continued to play an integral role in the academy and the U.S. military.
They had military training and didn't understand that the police academy was a civilian academy.
