There are several steps I will take to ensure my writing continues to improve throughout my college experience and beyond. One of the most beneficial steps I will take is to continue to submit my work through the WritePoint service. I always learn something when reading the suggested edits from WritePoint. There are a few habits that I have picked up over the years that I did not know anything was wrong with, but WritePoint can be pretty critical and has helped me learn to avoid those issues. As I have practiced and learned through WritePoint, I find myself self-correcting myself on those bad habits in my academic and work-related writing. Another way to ensure my writing continues to improve is to keep a few print-outs of guides from the text to help me remember my weak areas. I still struggle with words like who and whom, so I keep a cheat-sheet next to my desk to help me practice using those words correctly.
