I found it necessary to get a tutor, because my GCSE maths teacher is rubbish. But theres a CD Called MathsWatch. You can just watch the videos On it, And it saves you having to write/read etc :) :)
You revise poems for GCSE English Literature by finding a poem that intersts you, read it carefully, annotate it, read it again and write about feelings, emotions that the poem creates. Just STUDY all you need to do is revise your guidelines, yours IG's are easy just dont get worried be confident and youll be fine :)
Look at the Edexcel web site and search for the specifications for the course that you are interested in.
It depends what exam board you are working with, check with your teacher and ask them because you want the one that fits well with your course so that you are not trying to memorise unnecessary information.

Revise hard, at least for two hours a day. It is best if you don't have a job so you have more time to get ready for your exams. Ask your friends to help you revise. FACT: You remember around 70% more things that you revised when you talk to someone or yourself about the subject/what you are studying, and keep repeating instead of just getting on with the revision.

They only effect they have on real GCSE's are that they are the basis on which your GCSE results are predicted.
