I have been a CNA for 3 years and am currently in nursing school due to graduate early next year. In my experience, it is very beneficial to become a CNA before becoming an RN. Not only does it help you to become familiar with a hospital environment and valuable skills such as multi-tasking within that hectic environment, it prepares you for some of the less glamorous aspects of nursing care such as bodily fluids, inappropriate patients, and even post-mortem care (the dead have to be washed too). The people who are CNAa before nurses, i have noticed, just don't seem to be afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting dirty when they need to get the job done. I hope i have answered your question! and i believe that becoming a CNA before a RN you mentally prepare yourself for the outcome of some situations.
it would not hurt

If your ambition is to become an RN, then you should focus on getting to this position as quickly as possible. Only deviate from it if you do not have the qualifications to achieve it all at once, in which case a career path to it would be a sensible choice.
This would be a matter of opinion. I would first research the demand for this business before investing in it. It may not be a good idea if there are several stores in your area that provide this.
