The success of a man's life depends very much on the choice of his career.To make a right choice is a daunting task.It has been found that the career of many bright young men has been ruined owing to a wrong choice.Today,in India,choice of vocation is quite a difficult problem.Almost every profession is overcrowded.There was a time when law and medicine were highly paying.The mere adoption of these professions was considered a guarantee of prosperity.But those days are now a part of history and both lawyers and doctors are faced with very keen competition nowadays.Moreover the changing circumstances of the modern society make the lucrative profession of today a dull and unprofitable one tomorrow.Thus it is not very easy to decide which profession one should adopt.A little careful consideration is essential before choosing a career otherwise a round peg is put in a square hole.

In western countries the students are developed from the very beginning of their lives according to the tastes and natural skill which they have.They are fully equipped with all sorts of necessary and requisite knowledge to develop their taste and inborn capacity.In India,on the other hand,such a system of education is just beginning to bear fruit but there is much scope of improvement in the days to come.The entire responsibility of the choice of profession depends upon the young man and his parents where the former must form a correct estimate of his taste and capacity before arriving at the final choice after careful discussion with the parents.It is the duty of the parents to observe carefully the taste and inborn capacity of his ward before he gives his approval to the choice of the latter.If a man dislikes his job,he has little chance of success.On the other hand,if he follows a work,which he loves best,he has the greatest chance of success.Napoleon became a great warrior because from early boyhood he loved to be a soldier and even in playing with his friends he displayed his warlike spirit and skill.

Finally,it should be remembered that a rolling stone gathers no moss.If a man goes on changing one profession after another,he will not prosper in life.So after having selected a profession,he should stick to it and apply all his energy to it.If he does so ,be it a profession suited to his taste and capacitites or not,his honest efforts are sure to be crowned with success and he will be the architect of his own fortune.He should bear in mind that talent and hard work never go in vain.
