At college, they expect that you will personally manage your learning. That is, you will attend class, pay attention, do the work and pass the tests without any discussions from the professor teaching the class. In the same vein, if you are having a problem in the class, you are expected to find tutoring on your own, or visit the professor during his office hours. Classroom disruption and misbehavior don't happen. Slamming books down on the desk, talking during class, etc. are not tolerated. Other than that, the quality of the learning experience should be similar.
