Both! There are several christian/montessori shools around the country. Your child gets a fully christian education while the school remains on montessori principles.
It totaly depends on each school and your personal opinion. There are good and bad things about each. For instance, a private school has more one on one attention but less socialization with other children.
The theory of evolution was big and many religious people disagree with it. Now there are 2 party's the Christians Muslims monks etc they are religious and will tell you god made the world but the Evolutionists will tell you about the big bang.
Whole learning includes learning an entire skill while part learning covers its parts more in-depth. Subjects are covered more thoroughly with whole language while pieces of the lessons become important in part learning.
This is a quote from Alfred North Whitehead, an educator in the late 1800s-early 1900s. It was in a 1929 book called The Aims of Education and Other Essays. It refers to his thoughts on precision (exactness of formulation), a step in learning. To me, it sounds like rote memorization before you tie the knowledge to the real item.
Logic is description. The importance of logic in reference to education is that if a student understands the logic and reasoning behind a given aspect of reality, then he/she may be able to adapt and grow, using the same reasoning, in times of difficulty. If a student just memorizes definitions without understanding why the words are defined as they are and why they are used in a given manner, then the student will only be able to understand those few words, versus the entirety of the language and definitions.
Education is an example of man versus society conflict.
How do you reconcile equality versus equity in public education today?
The type of conflict that education is, is that of man versus society.
Education can be considered a conflict between man versus society because society doesn't always offer every man the same opportunity for education.
Erickson believed a child had three key stages of the development, and each required special needs for the child. The first was basic trust versus basic mistrust, and necessitated consistent and caring adults who provide a safe environment. Second is initiative versus guilt and requires a safe environment where they are allowed to make choices. Third is industry versus inferiority which needs encouraging adults who will allow them to develop and create their own ideas. Many of Montessori and Erickson's beliefs were similar, since Erickson was a certified Montessori teacher. The only difference is the 'encouraging adults,' which Maria Montessori believed could be a detriment since they could break the important concentration children need in their learning process. She was against both criticism as well as praise since it served to break that concentration.
It is the Law of the Land.
No.

You should always stay in school versus dropping out. A person who has no education has no future.
