Are ALL the uses of natural gas environmentally friendly?

Sorry to inform you but natural gas causes pollution. You have probably seen ads or articles that argue that switching from oil to natural gas would help us clean up the environment. By switching, we would be introducing less pollutants, but this is not what I would think qualifies for a "environmentally friendly" fuel. I've included some links on natural gas. Pollution can occur during exploration and production, while in storage and in the end use, typically involves burning of natural gas. In offshore production of oil, large volumes of gas are often flared, releasing CO2 to our atmosphere. Similarly, power plants will release CO2, which contributes to global warming.
