check the heater control valve. these things tend to stick either open or closed. it may also be your blend door. check the heater control valve first, for you dont have to take the dash off.

First check the fuses then check your blower fan then check the blend door and blend door actuator and then the control panel
System airbound? Coolant level? Temperature control cable?
If the headlights are on and brake lights work but not the tail lights, it is possible there is a short in the electrical wires. Another cause for this could be that the tail light bulbs are burned out. Most vehicles have more than one bulb inside the tail lights to control different lights at the same time.
Generally pull it off and slide the new ones on. some makes/models may have retaining clips to hold them on, some just dont come off without removing the entire control.
