DC voltage? If it has a 12V battery, then output AT THE BATTERY should be 13 VDC. Voltage at the flywheel is not specified on DC only alternators. Otherwise, it can range from 14 to 40 volts AC. Check the color of wires AND connectors coming from alternator, and note the color of any wires and connectors plus the general shape and appearance of the regulator. Also note if there are diodes (they will be located on a red wire, near the connector, and will be lumpy things under black heat-shrink tubing...)
