The Honda Civic HX did get Hybrid like mileage which is why they probably got rid of the car so that people would by their hybrids. After all, hybrids are supposed to be technologically superior. The only problem with the hybrids is the PRICE. BRING BACK THE HONDA CIVIC HX.
Now some people did have problems with the transmission but it was ONLY with the CVT Transmission which was a newly designed automatic transmission that constantly changed gears to get the best gas mileage. The 5-SPEED Transmission was great, and I got as high as 46 MPG on the Freeway! CIVIC HX 5-Speed was GREAT!
