The dc load resistance is Rc but the AC Load resistance is (RcRl).

If a load line is drawn the slope of which is -1(Rc Rl) .

Then it is called an AC load line and it is to be used when the transistor is operating as an amplifier.

What is meant by the term large signal amplifier?

power amplifiers are the amplifier which raise the power levels of the signal.the power amplifier may also defined as a device which converts dc power to ac power and whose action is controlled by the ac input signal. Power amplifiers are also known as "LARGE SIGNAL AMPLIFIER".the term large signal arises because they use large part of load line for their operation, but the small signal amplifiers are use only 10% load line for their operation.

How do you select the operating point for the amplifier?

selection of operating point is very important in the electronics circuit designing or construction of amplifiers 1. operating point is generally selected as the point of intersection of both DC and AC load lines. 2. they may also be chosen as the mid-point of DC load line if maximum symmetrical swing of the signal is desired

What is chopper amplifier?

In a chopper type amplifier the dc i/p voltage is converted into an ac voltage, amplified by an ac amplifier and then converted back into a dc voltage proportional to the original i/p signal

Difference between dc load line and ac load line?

well the difference mainly exists in the method of finding them , these are :-1. in finding DC load line :-open all AC sourcesopen all the capacitors2. for AC load line:-open all the Dc sourcesshort all the capacitors.

Ac and dc load line of BJT-explain?

Is capacitor bank can reduce high load in the electrcal system?

If your question is, "Can a capacitor bank reduce high loads in electrical systems?" Not really. In an AC system, a capacitor bank can be used to balance the complex power drawn by the load. If done correctly, this can reduce the current being drawn by the load. If done incorrectly, this can increase the current being drawn by the load. Look up "power factor correction" for more details.

What is difference between AC and DC load line?

A dc load line is formed by joining the 2 points wherin the slope is equal to the inverse of the load resistance.. whereas the ac load lin has a different slope... and it intersects the dc load line at the quiescent point.

How much load current of an ac?

Load current is simply the name given to the current drawn by a load from its supply. In the case of a d.c. circuit, this is determined by dividing the supply voltage by the resistance of the load; in the case of an a.c. circuit, it is determined by dividing the supply voltage by the impedance of the load.

Is transformer an amplifier?

No. In an amplifier, Power Out > Power in. In a transformer Power Out ~= Power In (minus internal losses). An AC generator is more like an amplifier than a transformer.
