consider a dynamiter D having a moving coil and a fixed coil. The moving coil is supplied from I/P source whose waveform is to be analysed.

Fixed coil is supplied from harmonic generator. Steady deflection of dynamiter result only from those current wave forms in moving and fixed coils which have some frequency.

What is the explanation for the principle operation of wave analyzer?

An apparatus that assesses a complex mixture of wave forms by separating out their component frequencies and displaying their distribution.

Main difference between spectrum analyzer and cathode ray oscilloscope?

an oscilloscope give amplitude v/s time display of a wave, whereas the spectrum analyzer gives amplitude v/s frequency display. the oscilloscope gives distribution of energy in wave with respect to time whereas the spectrum analyzer displays frequency components of a wave and their amplitudes.

What is a distortion analyzer?

A distortion analyzer is an electronic test instrument that measures the accuracy of an electronic circuit at reproducing a wave. For instance, an audio amplifier might have a sine wave input to it, and the distortion analyzer measures how close the output is to a sine wave. If the output is clipped, the wave will be distorted, and the analyzer will measure the amount of harmonics present. The analyzer does this by supplying a low distortion sine wave test signal which is connected to the device under test. The output from the device is connected to the input of the analyzer where the original input signal is filter out with a precision notch filter. Anything left over after filtering represents distortion components and noise. Amplifiers will frequently have a "Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise" specification which is an accurate term for the quantity measured by a distortion analyzer. There are many manufacturers of distortion analyzers. The Hewlett-Packard models 331a and 333 are laboratory standard instruments. Other notable manufacturers are Sound Technology Corporation and Textronix.

The Japanese wave symbolizes respect for the forces of nature. Based on the principles of Shintoism, they believe in the power of nature over man.

What is the explanation for the principles of electromagnetic wave?

An electromagnetic wave is properly called a Transverse Electro Magnetic wave, or TEM wave. It consists of an alternating magnetic wave at right angles to an alternating electric wave, with both fields being at right angles to the direction of propagation. The plane of the electric field is defined as the plane of polarization.
