I never heard of transparent flip flop and i think it refers to a 'd' flip flop where the output will follows the input with the clock. a master slave referred as j-k do not follow the input not until the master tells the slave to flip

Why master slave jk flip flop is preferred over jk flip flop?

A plain JK flipflop is unreliable as it is enabled by the level of the clock, not the edge. In a master-slave flipflop, the master section captures the new state based on the inputs while the clock level is high, then the slave section captures the new state from the master while the clock level is low. This has the effect of making the flipflop act as if it was falling edge clocked but retains the simplicity of design of flipflops that are level enabled.

How master flip flop is used to overcome time race in jk flip flop explain?

In a master-slave flip-flip arrangement, the master flip-flop determines its state on one clock edge, while the slave flip-flop determines its state on the following clock edge. This way, the end-to-end output does not ever change on any one clock edge, so no race condition is possible.

How can master slave flip flop prevent race around condition?

RACE AROUND CONDITION OCCURS WHWN BOTH THE INPUT ARE HIGHAND THE OUTPUT THUS UNDERGOES A TRANSITION STATE.FOR EXAMPLE CONSIDER THE INPUT VALUES IN A JK FLIP FLOP;ie;J=K=1 ,THE OUTPUT Q0=0 IN NORMAL CASE WILL CHANGE TO 1 AND VICE VERSA. THE REMEDY FOR RACE AROUND PROBLEM CAN BE ELIMINATED BY USING A MASTER SLAVE J-K FLIP FLOP'S

What is 2-wire and 3-wire?

They refer to the number of I/O lines (not power) needed to transfer data between to processors/controllers.3 wire serial has a bidirectional data line, a clock line, and a master/slave line.2 wire generally is clock and data.

What is the difference between master and slave setting for a hard drive?

The difference is very technical... One of the devices, called the "master", is in control of the data transmission, the other one "obeys". All you really need to know is that if one device is the master, the other must be the slave. It doesn't matter much which is which.

What is the difference between a master cylinder and slave cylinder?

The primary difference between a master and a slave cylinder is which one make the other one work. We operate the master cylinder to make the slave cylinder work. The master cylinder on a hydraulic clutch is actuated by pushing on the clutch pedal. The hydraulic pressure then makes the clutch slave cylinder move and it pushes out to give the throw-out arm a shove. This will disengage the clutch from the flywheel (by actuating the pressure plate). the master cylinder is on the fire wall its the main one, when you push on the brake pedal down it pushes on a rod in the master sylinder. the wheel cylinders (slave) are on the dram drums. they push the brake shoes to the drum

What is the difference between master IDE and slave IDE?

In computing, the terms "master IDE" and "slave IDE" refer to the primary and secondary IDE devices connected to the IDE bus on a motherboard. The master IDE device is the main drive that controls the bus and handles data transfers, while the slave IDE device is a secondary drive that operates under the control of the master device. Each IDE channel can have one master and one slave device connected to it.

What is the meaning of Master-slave communication protocol?

A slave only receives the requests, acknoledges, threats and sends a response. A slave cannot initiates a communication.

How are slavery and indentured servitude alike?

Slavery and indentured servitude involve individuals working against their will, typically in service to someone else. Both systems deprive individuals of their freedom and subject them to harsh living and working conditions. However, in indentured servitude, individuals may have a contract specifying the terms of their labor and eventual release, whereas slavery typically involves lifelong bondage without such contractual agreements.

What is the difference between distributed and replicated database?

In a distributed database, data is divided and stored across multiple nodes in a network, while in a replicated database, data is duplicated and stored across multiple nodes for redundancy and fault tolerance. Distributed databases focus on partitioning data for scalability and performance, whereas replicated databases focus on ensuring data availability and reliability.
