A CVT in substations uses it as a communication system. It is also use in filtering high frequency waves that acts as a carrier network.
Capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) which is having special properties & used for protection & metering purpose.
Rather than where? Circuit breakers are always located in substations.

Gas insulated substations do have some advantages. They are preferred in cities and large towns, and are considered to be safe, reliable, and maintenance free.
A CVT (Constant Voltage Transformer) is always better than a Servo Stabilizer. But a CVT is costlier than a Servo Stabilizer of same rating.
No, you have to use the special CVT fluid. No, you have to use the special CVT fluid.
If it is a CVT transmission then yes you can use cvt gearbox oil in a mini cooper.
The CVT uses a special CVT fluid from the dealer.
CVT means continuously variable transmission and CVT fluid is transmission fluid for such a transmission.
the rancher 420 does not have a cvt so there will be no cvt intake

CVT's are not entirely new, and not exclusive to Toyota. I think it was a German concept, but I am not sure. Other manufacturers like Ford are also using CVT's. The answer, as far as Toyota is concerned would have to be answered by Toyota engineers. The Ford 500 uses a CVT and the Escape Hybrid uses a variation of the CVT. The trend does seem to indicate that all the manufacturers are going in that direction, and that there will be more CVT's on the road soon. So I would expect the answer to be yes for all manufacturers, Toyota and everyone else.
