What happen if the iron core is replaced by gold in the case of transformer?

You will have a very expensive but worthless transformer. Gold is not a ferromagnetic material, so it will not contain the magnetic flux needed to link the separate windings.

When the motor is found running hot to touch what happen?

A motor is always going to be hot to the touch because when it is running it is very hot and takes awhile to cool down after it is shut off. If an engine is hot to the touch, it just means it was recently running.

What will happen if field rheostat of dc shunt motor is kept at maximum position while starting?

First remember this rheostat is connected in series with the armature to increase the total resistance to limit the starting current, thus achieving max starting torque from the motor

What is the importance of slip in a 3-phase induction motor?

Slip is a measure of the difference in relative motion between the rotor and the magnetic field set up by the field windings. In very simple terms, without slip an induction motor would not be able to develop any torque! A slip of zero means that the rotor is turning at synchronous speed; in other words it is running at the same speed as the rotating field set up by the field windings, so there is no relative movement between the field and the rotor. To develop torque, the voltages must be induced into the rotor, and this can only happen if there is relative movement between the field and the rotor -in other words, the rotor MUST be running more slowly than synchronous speed. That is, there must be some degree of slip.

What happen when the polarity of transformer reversed?

You cannot 'reverse' the polarity of a transformer -it is either wound with 'additive polarity' or 'subtractive polarity', and there's not much you can do about it! For a single transformer, its polarity doesn't really matter. But if you are going to parallel two transformers, then you must know the polarity of each transformer in order to avoid harmful circulating currents in their secondary windings.

What will happen if you run induction motor beyond its rated speed?

The windings will heat up and evntually be destroyed due to the high rate of speed which induces more ccurrent in the windings

What action settings do in Microsoft PowerPoint?

Action Settings are things you can make happen when you click something or even put the mouse over somethings. Actions that you can make happen include moving to other slides, ending a show, starting a different show, opening a differentprogram or file and running macros.Action Settings are things you can make happen when you click something or even put the mouse over somethings. When does true rhyming happen?

A true rhyme happens when the sounds are nearly identical.

What would happen if you rubbed two identical objects together?

Nothing

When did Running Battle happen?

Running Battle happened in 1991.

What will happen if a fertilized ovum divides and forms two embryos?

Identical twins

What kinds of twins are there?

Identical and Fraternal There are identical and fraternal. Fraternal twins happen when 2 different embryos start growing at the same time, so you get a brother and a sister or 2 sisters or 2 brothers that are the same age. Identical twins happen when 1 embryo splits into 2 embryos when it is only a few cells big, so both babies have the same genes.

1994 Chevy pick-up only starts with starting fluid?

if it starts and stays running you only have to do that to get it cranked its the tps throttle position sensor i had the same thing happen to me

What do you hear when two almost identical frequencies are sounded together?

You hear 'beats', or pulses, and these pulses happen at a frequency which is the difference between the frequencies of the nearly identical tones.

What happen when identical objects are dropped under different gravitational conditions?

when you drop an identical object in different gravitational conditions it will not have a similar acceleration because the gravity are different.

Identical twins happen when the two eggs are fertilised?

No. They have to come from the same egg and sperm to have the same DNA (and be identical). Fraternal twins are non identical twins and come from two separate eggs.

Why does meiosis happen twice?

Meiosis happens twice to create FOUR non-identical cells. If it only happened once, only TWO non-identical cells would be made. When it happens twice, FOUR non-identical cells are made.
