Black and White Rhinos can live in all tempered zones in the world that provide food for them. The Indian rhinoceros is not wildly different in it's needs from the black and white rhinos of Africa. So it is reasonable to assume that African black and white rhinos would survive in India easily.
I don't think that rhinos live in areas that even have winter. Their homes can be found in Africa and India, and both are in the temperate zone, at least they are where the rhinos are.

The Indian rhinos some times chase elephants and white rhinos too but this is only for sometimes, the elephant will back on the rhinos. The winner is elephants and the elephants are stronger.
