According to theory, the extinction started when humans began to disperse across the globe about 100,000 years ago. As population increased, the need for food also increased. As a result people began using agriculture. While humans move across the earth as predators, other species become their prey. The Sixth Extinction Theory says that while people evolve, the world is dying- because our evolution is draining the world's resources. Therefore, the result is that humans are slowly destroying the Earth and we are the cause of The Sixth Extinction.

Evidence suggesting we could be experiencing a sixth mass extinction includes the high rate of species extinction, the loss of biodiversity, and the significant impact of human activities such as habitat destruction, pollution, and climate change on ecosystems worldwide. Trends in population decline and habitat loss further support the hypothesis of a sixth mass extinction event.

The prepositional phrase is "about dinosaur extinction" and the object is "extinction." The word "dinosaur" is called a "noun adjunct" rather than an adjective.
Extinction is part of the Theory of Evolution. This goes along with natural selection and survival of the fittest. Organisms that go extinct do so because they are no longer able to survive in the habitat.
The main reason is that many different organisms went extinct along with the dinosaurs, both on land and in the sea. In all, about 65% of all species on Earth went extinct. Furthermore, many groups of organism disappear from the fossil record very suddenly. This evidence suggests that a cataclysmic event devastated numerous ecosystems around the world.
Humans have contributed to the extinction of animals and plants by over hunting/over harvesting since the beginning of man. Sometimes the over hunting that man did also contributed to the extinction of plants because the animal that man hunted was required by the plant or it's seed to reproduce.
The Pleistocene overkill theory suggests that the extinction of large mammals during the Pleistocene epoch was caused by human hunting pressure. It argues that early humans were responsible for the mass extinction of large mammals like mammoths and saber-tooth cats, leading to significant changes in ecosystems. This theory remains a topic of debate among scientists studying prehistoric extinctions.
