What was megalodons habitat like?

Iguanodon lived in Europe between 126 and 125 million years ago. At this time, Europe was tropical to subtropical and much of it was covered by shallow seas. The islands that were not flooded were relatively dry and covered in forests of conifers, cycads, ferns, horsetails, and ginkgos.

Carcharodon megalodon was a massive shark which had a cosmopolitan, or global, distribution. They lived in the open oceans around the world. Fossils have been found in Europe, Africa, North and South America, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Jamaica, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malta, Grenadines, India, etc.
